Things Falling in Love sculpture

Emerging from our journey to the graphic design conference „Redo“ in Prishtinë, Kosovo, in October 2024, the work explores memory as a fragmented, value-shifting process. The image material, which was gathered along the way, echoes postcard motifs and fragments of poetry, serving as both souvenir and reinterpretation.

The three-meter textile collage plays with the contrast between kitsch and art, the banal and the precious. Through large-scale fabric printing, the mass-produced visuals are recharged, their ironic overstatement reflecting on taste, cultural value, and appropriation.
